I'm from Bangladesh and an exporter of raw-materials to China. Previously we would send the samples by courier service after our initial contacts were established by searching through google, yahoo and such search engine with phrase like ';Handicraft + China';.
At certain stage you need to visit your customers and prospect and show them samples to get better response price and payment mode like advance payment by TT etc (instead of L/C payment).
