don't burn yourself out ...............lol
O.k Rich..... You obviously know how to make your product or you wouldn't be asking this Question.

The best and biggest market place in the world is right here online, and I speak from experience.

You need to have a viable product and the means to buy the raw materials to make that product. Thats step one out of the way!

Step two... identify, and if possible undercut your competitors.

A high street shop with all its overheads and staff rarely undercuts an on line seller. If your product is unique in design then so much the better!

Make sure before you sell online what its going to cost in both product packaging and selling fees, these must be added to your projected selling price.

Try selling a 'one off ' on an internet site before you start pumping money in, this will give you a feel for the popularity of your product.

Some sites like ebay offer trading partners who will move your product for you at a price.

Your candles are an intrinsicaly heavy item, so sending by royal mail may put so much on the price that a potential buyer will back off. There are companies out there that deliver at much better rates, use them.

To sum up, you can be in this life whatever you make yourself to be. There are millions out there saying it can't be done mainly because they havent got the balls to try it.

Richard Branson started off at school selling girlie magazines to his mates.

Now he's got a scraggy beard and a cheesy grin! (And a few bob in the sherman tank)

GO FOR IT!!
Don't burn the candles at both ends.
