I will soon start my own business, as an agent. I am seeking tips or advice for new business starter. Thanks!!

Most businesses start out small. As a new business owner you need to know your federal tax responsibilities. This page provides links to basic federal tax information for people who are starting a business. It also provides information to assist in making basic business decisions. The list should not be construed as all-inclusive. Other steps may be appropriate for your specific type of business: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/arti鈥?/a>

If you're looking to promote talent, you need to find the artists you want to promote, book an event/fundraiser, which showcases the artist. Research event planning. It requires alot of time and effort seeking investors/sponsors/donations, in addition to overseeing production of the event.

You also need a Business Plan/Executive Summary which outlines your business purpose, your goals, your competition, your advantages, the disadvantages. Fundingpost.comI will soon start my own business, as an agent. I am seeking tips or advice for new business starter. Thanks!!
You haven't said what line you are going into so it is quite difficult to give you advice.

You must know your product really well and believe in it as your enthusiasm will help you sell.

Do your homework on where your customers base will come from, and set out a business plan costing all your expenses of set up costs, open a bank account in your company name and insurances for goods and premises (if needed), transport costs,

stationary headed paper (you can print your own on a computer).

That's just for starters.

I wish you every success in your business.I will soon start my own business, as an agent. I am seeking tips or advice for new business starter. Thanks!!
To become your own boss is to become the God of your own universe, so it's important to become immensely cocky and self-important immediately and tell everyone you're self-employed with as much smugness as possible.
what industry are you going into?
doing what?
